Batist - White

Historically renowned as the fabric of the highly refined handkerchiefs of aristocratic ladies and elegant lords, the batiste is a very fine, 100% cotton fabric (95ct) that has always been used for all freehand embroidery techniques. Delicate and precious, it is ideal for all kinds of whitework, Richelieu embroidery, iron-on model embroidery, as well as for the French "boutis" and all the traditional stitches that require a compact support, made of very fine threads.
