After reading the negative experience of irfr44951 with the yarns and fabric in the "Country of Cornflowers" kit, I have replaced the fabric with a Zweigart aida 20, but it sure would be perfect in aida 18 or 16 or linen 32 ct .. The threads do not have a brand but they are very beautiful, they do not fade when washed and I personally have not had problems with them. The graphic looks very naive but you shouldn't be fooled by its apparent simplicity, since you have to be very careful in its execution and you also have to continually change the thread, but the result is a beautiful embroidery and that is why I would like to embroider the 4 other kits from this collection of houses...

It would be useful to remove the words "with slate" from the product title. The title thus misleads. I only now understood (reading your response to another previous review of 2014) that the manufacturer does not insert the slate into the package together with the plastic line counter with the four magnets. My fault: I should have read the previous reviews more carefully and I would have understood that inside the package I would have found the line counter WITHOUT the slate...

To roller looms I prefer those that stretch the fabric around the entire perimeter, but it is impossible to use them with medium-large sized jobs ... taking advantage of the August offer, I bought this support which has proved to be brilliant! Very easy to assemble, it is stable and versatile: it adapts to various frame sizes, starting from a minimum width of 20 cm, with virtually no limitations for maximum width and height; the access to the back of the embroidery for the postage of the threads is immediate, but the best thing is its possibility of adapting the position of the work to any seat, which allows you to maintain a correct and comfortable posture. The association with the lens with led from the ground makes the work very pleasant regardless of the lighting of the environment. Finally, even aesthetically it is really a beautiful object, and the quality of materials and finishes gives hope for durability. The expense is demanding, but for the freedoms and comforts it offers to those who spend many hours embroidering, I think it is worth it...
