I experimented with this design and I must say that apart from the shades of the skirt, I solved all the difficulties that this embroidery has: the beads, the metallic thread. I used DMC light effects Precious Metal E3852 (5284). I did it on white Aida and the effect is extraordinary. Now I'm just waiting to frame it...

Defining it as a dish dryer is an understatement, the fabric is extremely full-bodied, the lurex gives a bright, but not excessive, light to the background and the details of the design. The parts in light ecru were a very pleasant surprise: they are a bit "spongy" almost as if they were really sprinkled with snow. Too bad they do not do the strip to go outside, it would be amazing! Chierese weaving never disappoints!..
