Guida al ricamo - Pittura ad ago

not huge book (50 pages) but well done, which explains in detail everything you need to learn this embroidery technique. The photos of the processing steps round off what is explained in words in the text. Flowers and butterflies seem to really painted, in fact this technique to "satin stitch" is also called "dot painting." With a little 'practice and choosing the right color shades in gradation, I hope to get the results that you see in the photos of this book. If you use silk threads, instead of the simple moulin the embroidered parts, will reflect even more light, and the effect will be even more beautiful! The exciting thing you can create embroideries directly from a photo, because you draw the shape on the fabric (eg of a butterfly), and then following the shades of color in the picture from life, embroidering, without needing default schemas, as you do, however, for cross stitch. Spoiled Rotten Cats

This diagram shows funny cats who play very well, their "being" cats: what rest, sleep, eat (caviar!), Walking in perfect balance, they can be cleaned with grace, etc., And have a sly expression is nice. It 'easy embroidery. And 'bizarre arrangement and shape of the written, never perfectly horizontal, (which are used to describe the actions carried out by the cats, and also to "fill in" the gaps between a cat and the other): they are a beautiful color dark green (DMC 890), and the running stitch around the embroidery not black, but a dark blue color (DMC 939) so that does not weigh down the edges, but rather blends very well with the different shades of brown fur of these cute cats. And 'an embroidery done on commission and I think it will become a very nice framework. I embroidered on Aida white 55 holes and I got a cm size. To 29 cm. 24 approx. Very nice looking ... you can not help but smile! Cinzia... Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] |
