very nice book and bound in a special way: schemas are in a boxed set contained within the book. Even the 10 models of samplers are pleasant although quite similar between them. For this reason I give a rating of 4 out of 5 stars...

Nothing to say about the "squares" that illustrate flower and its initial, but is not it time you propose the alternative in Italian flowers that do not have the same initial? Some are the same in French and Italian (iris), other may be modified by a bit 'of good will (= cardoon thistle) but what about jasmin jasmine =? And the squares fillers written only in French? Italian Parolin or think that our language is not up to the French? Insist with the publisher to do the double versions and print a few pages at most, does not sell books exactly cheap, I would say...

Parolin is best confirmed by the individual patterns in the books. Aside from the repetitive lyricism with which accompanies the photographs it does not propose complex jobs but small additions characterized by the usual pets and style tree "bonsai". Compared to the publication "Couleurs de printemps" there are no sentences in French only, there is only one alphabet (Christmas) we can get by composing what we want, and some bilingual suggestion this time I d. Rather disappointing, especially for the apparent lack of elevating the beautiful Italian language to "language for embroidery"...

It is a very good book; the patterns are all in color, some very complex, others more simple, but all really quality and effect. With the proposed works can be made paintings or embroidered decorations for clothing or household linen. The schemes vary in subject, size and commitment. All are united by a lot of attention to detail and a good taste infinity. Joan a real guarantee of quality. I am very satisfied with my purchase. I recommend this book to all lovers of quality crosses...
