I'm embroidering on linen Edinburgh 35 ct Light Mocha, because the one recommended by the designers not readily available and in any case very expensive. If you want to make the bearings, in my opinion preferable linens with high number of ct, otherwise they are too big. Another point in favor of With Thy Needle and Thread schemes that are very clear, readable and a decent size...
