Mon album de Broderie

I received this album the other day and I've already started writing my notes with photos of some of my embroidery. The pages are quite stiff card (look almost plastic), then they should stand up over time. Although they are both easily polished writing with pen and pencil. In all there are three folders red card and three transparent plastic bags containing already some small monochrome scheme, playing two antique tables the Alphabet de la brodeuse of DMC and a fold with European traditional dress cross stitch. In most various explanations (in French) for the execution of embroidery stitches and packaging of some items. The beautiful pictures and the hard cover with cloth backs make this precious and perfect album for a gift to a seamstress. However an A4 format might have been the best choice for a notebook of this type: the normal from the printer sheets are all bent in half in order to be inserted into folders. In addition, the spiral rings do not allow you to add or move pages, and the pages for notes and grids for the schemes are put in a somewhat 'chaotic. It still deserves 4 stars ... ;-)

Belissimo and useful this album, full of schemes and advice but above all pages and transparent envelopes where to put our embroideries and our tricks and tips.
