This soft backing is used to cover the backside of embroideries and applications and it protects our skin from the itchy sensation, often caused by embroidery applications on t-shirts and clothes. Just like many other stabilizers, this is an iron-on one, but - differently from all others - its adhesive agent re-activates any time we press it and the backing is therefore much more resistant than any other similar product.
How to use it: turn your garment inside out, to expose the backside of the finished embroidery. Cut out your piece of Comfort Wear with rounded edges and 1-2 cm allowance, so that’s larger than the outline of the embroidery itself. Place it on the backside of the embroidery, with the adhesive side down (the adhesive side is very easy to recognize, for it’s coarser and shinier). Place a clean cloth under the front side of the embroidery, to protect it while pressing. Press with your iron at 150 - 160°C, per 15 seconds, without sliding it. Let the whole piece cool down, before going on.
