Q-Snaps frames provide a unique method to hold fabric taut while stitching. Four plastic C-shaped clamps hold the fabric onto the bars. Tension is easy to adjust. You have a smooth stitching surface around entire frame without "hoop wrinkles". The Q-snaps frame comes apart in seconds to store or to carry in practically any tote.

The hoops by Q-Snaps
The necessary elements for each embroidery are 4: chart, threads, needle and fabric.
It goes without saying that in the kits the other products are called "accessories". Like beads, pearls, metallic threads (about which we have created a specific post) and so on.
But embroidery is not only what you see on the fabric. It is also all the "backstage work", which means the use of supporting tools and other objects that can make easier to embroider.
So, here are the Q-Snaps. Of different dimensions (they can also be extended thanx to specific arms), these hoops made in plastic, through some special vices, maintain the fabric completely tight during the embroidery. They are very light, even if they are indestructible! But other than the classic squared hoops (the littlest one is 15cmx15cm and the biggest is 44cmx44cm) Q-Snaps offers also the arms of 20, 28 and 43 cm and the extensions for the bigger works. If the borders create some problems, the Q-Snap Floor Frame is what you need.
This ground hoop is suitable for tablecloths, covers, curtains etc. and it is big enough for two people embroidering together.
Embroidery is a hobby, so why don't you make it easier with these tools?

Hello, given that I am very happy with this frame, I would like some advice on bead embroidery: how do I hook the frame onto the fabric where there are also beads? I am very afraid that by pushing the hook they could be damaged or even broken. Is there something or a method to protect the fabric? (I hope I made myself clear). Thanks for the reply, Daniela.

Hi Daniela and thank you :-) You explained yourself very well, don't worry, and your question is definitely legitimate! The problem is that it is not advisable to embroider with beads using this hoop, because the embroidery beads are made of glass and the risk of the Q-Snap "clamps" shattering them when placed under them is very high. Generally, the beads are placed at the end (that is, after completing the embroidery), without using the hoop. An alternative, if you still want to use a frame even when applying the beads, are \"sliding\" frames, such as this one: https://www.casacenina.it/american-dream/individual-frame- 8-no-basting.html on which the fabric is fixed with Velcro or basting it on itself and then turning it over like papyrus, as the work progresses. In this case, the beads are protected by the fabric of the work which, turning over on itself, forms a certain thickness and therefore offers a certain protection. It must be said, however, that the tension of the fabric itself, as the beads are applied to it, is unfortunately not optimal. Our advice, therefore, is to apply the beads at the end of the embroidery, without using any frame. If you have any other doubts, please send us an email to: [email protected] Thank you and best regards.

I really love the round in wooden frames, I find them so beautiful to use as frames for embroidery with objects with colors like watercolors .... but I think for most embroidery user only the Q-Snap: tense canvas, lightweight, compact and beautiful with 4 clips beautiful wide on each side. I already to be 44x44 cm. and extension cords for this, but certainly acquister also the smallest! ;-)

Hello, I purchased the pattern "Mother and Child" by Klimt Riolis art.73594: okay if I take this frame? How to use? It can adapt to the various embroidery even smaller measures? Thanks Denise
-----
Dear Denise, the Q-Snap is fine, but if you want it also to adapt to embroidery of other dimensions, consider that you can not rimpicciolore: you can only zoom. So if you want a frame that goes well for smaller embroideries, I counsel you to buy a measure of Q-Snap smallest, like this: http://www.casacenina.it/q-snap/q- snaps-20x20-cm-8.html and ordered set of extensions that allow you then enlarge the frame to your other work :-) Anyway, this ideal frame! Best wishes.

really well done. Lightweight, it fits in a minute and the fabric remains taut. I also bought extension cords. I recommend it to those who can not help but to embroider with the frame

Beautiful, light and easy to assemble. They told me to tugliere the latches from work we'd put the nails. Nothing more 'fake! They are removed quite easily. The canvas remains taut and does not crease. I recommend it to all: o)

A fabulous frame! The canvas attaches easily and remains very tense! It 'very light and can be mounted on the ground support opus ... remains very firmly! A little trick: if you need to fix the canvas at one point already embroidered, put on top of the fabric, so that the crosses remain protected. :-)
