Hello, given that I am very happy with this frame, I would like some advice on bead embroidery: how do I hook the frame onto the fabric where there are also beads? I am very afraid that by pushing the hook they could be damaged or even broken. Is there something or a method to protect the fabric? (I hope I made myself clear). Thanks for the reply, Daniela. ----- Hi Daniela and thank you :-) You explained yourself very well, don't worry, and your question is definitely legitimate! The problem is that it is not advisable to embroider with beads using this hoop, because the embroidery beads are made of glass and the risk of the Q-Snap "clamps" shattering them when placed under them is very high. Generally, the beads are placed at the end (that is, after completing the embroidery), without using the hoop. An alternative, if you still want to use a frame even when applying the beads, are \"sliding\" frames, such as this one: https://www.casacenina.it/american-dream/individual-frame- 8-no-basting.html on which the fabric is fixed with Velcro or basting it on itself and then turning it over like papyrus, as the work progresses. In this case, the beads are protected by the fabric of the work which, turning over on itself, forms a certain thickness and therefore offers a certain protection. It must be said, however, that the tension of the fabric itself, as the beads are applied to it, is unfortunately not optimal. Our advice, therefore, is to apply the beads at the end of the embroidery, without using any frame.
