The cottages by Susan Ryder

The Heritage Stichcraft proposes a new little series entirely created by Susan Ryder. Member of the New English Art Club and of the Royal Society of Portrait, Susan is an artist of great level, specialized in oil paintings. She has become famous with her portrait of Her Majesty of the Queen but also her little masterpieces - like the landscapes to embroider of this series- show all her mastery.
More precisely, Susan has created for the Heritage some drawings on cottages and country landscapes in a very English atmosphere. So here is the Irish Cottage in very bright colors: the yellow roof is in contrast with the light blue sky, whereas the pink flowers enrich the meadow, as green as the windows. The colors in Hebridean Croft are milder, just white and green. More characteristic cottages are those represented in Cruck Cottage and in Black and White Cottage, with the typical black and white facade. With these little pictures you will be able to mix the oil colors by Susan with the knots of your threads. You will give to your house a real British style with real and royal stitches!
