Height: about 0,5 cm.
Lightweight, iron-on volume fleece. For warm clothing, quilting and other handicrafts, as well as for soft valances and voluminous curtain swags.
Fabric: light to heavy-weight fabrics.
Advantages: easy to work with light volume; no shifting while sewing.
Method of use: place the interlining with the coated side on the wrong side of the fabric. Cover with a damp cloth and press each area for about 15 seconds, without pushing the iron. Iron setting: Wool/Cotton. Allow the pieces to cool flat for about 30 minutes, so that the adhesive can set properly. It is strongly recommended that you attach a small piece of interlining to a fabric remnant with your iron first to make sure that the hold and the adhesion meet your expectations. Why don't you try it with the "Tiffany" technique?
Care: Washable in temperatures up to 40 °C in the gentle cycle or dry cleanable.
Colours: White.
The Price is for a cut of about 100cm. x 90cm.

The Victorian sewing box
Victorian Sewing BoxHi everybody there
A lot of so-called “cartonnage brodée” ideas have always come from France to us. Whn talking of “cartonnage brodée”, we talk of cross stitch works that, rather than hanging on our walls, end up decorating some pretty cardboard box, covered with matching – or contrasting, why not? – colored fabrics! Among the designers who have pioneered this “winning pair”, there are certainly Sylvie Castellano and Sophie Delaborde, who were virtually the first ones to publish this “epoch-making” handbook.

Many others have followed and they’re all amazing!

For example, just take a look at this book here and tell me if its cover is not already too tempting!!!

Well, I personally find that cardboard and pasteboard working techniques enriched with cross stitch are definitely one of the most beautiful “final applications” for any needlework project (sorry for sounding so redundant… I know that’s everything but nice… But I get so excited, when talking about these things!). Moreover, cardboard and pasteboard working techniques are 100% within “anybody’s reach”, since they do not require any kind of sewing skillfulness: that means, you don’t have to be able to sew, to achieve amazing results And it also means that even the ones who have never dared purchasing a quilting fabric before, because they’ve always thought “well, I can’t sew”, have no more excuses now: needles have nothing to do with it (or, at least, sewing needles)!

So, we’ve been thinking for a long time to stock some sturdy cardboard, already die-cut in different shapes, to create “tasty” things, to be enriched with our cross stitch works… And now, after a long research, we can finally say we’ve found what we’ve been looking for so far: i.e. what’s probably the most longed for needle and necessities box in the world: the so-called Victorian Sewing Box! You can see it here, already completed.

However, if you decide to purchase this little treat, you’ll receive exactly those die-cut cardboard pieces I’ve just told you about here above. You’ll be then able to enjoy choosing the fabrics you like most, to personalize them, together with your needlework project – maybe your initial, or that of the one you’re going to give the box as a gift – topping them all!

Cardboard and pasteboard working techniques, believe me, are so simple and what you can do with them simply amazing

Just add a little iron-on volume fleece, like this one. A little tacky glue, easy to spread with a small brush or even with your finger

A few quilting fabrics… And, in this case, you already know you can literally indulge yourselves!

Your cross stitch project and… There it is: you’ll be given fast realization times and never-ending results, for, as this small box has come to us intact in its charm and undisputable usefulness, from the Victorian age, the Victorian Sewing Boxes you’re going to create will be handed over from mother to daughter, from grandmas to granddaughters, like an undying token of love, made with all the passion we have in our hearts and hands!!!

Hear from me soon and... A hug

I used to make the interior of some of cloth pot holders then tufted to the center and on the edge: the perfect thickness, the excellent yield and especially not d problems during sewing!

Outstanding fusible batting. I used to make mats and perfect after several washings. Comfortable even sewing.
