This year the Festa del Ricamo is double! In fact on Saturday afternoon there will be two classes and one demonstration and on Sunday our traditional market.

The classes and the demonstration will take place on Saturday afternoon from 3 pm.

On her class on patchwork, guided by McKenna Ryan, we will discover all the secrets of quilted patchwork by hand and of the appliqué technique with the fusible fleece. During this class we will make a quilted 30x30 cm block to decorate all creations our fantasy can suggest.

For the class with McKenna there will be part of our staff translating the event into Italian.

The class is free of charge.

For the patchwork class we have prepared a kit including all the materials you need to make the project by McKenna. The kit costs 40 € ed è possibile acquistarlo direttamente alla Festa (It is appropriate to buy the kit in order to participate to the class).

Note: in the kit we have not inserted quilting needle, quilting thread, scissors etc. You have to bring your own tools or you can buy them (other than the kit) directly at the Festa.

The class will be open to a limited number of participants as to guarantee their quality, following the designers' requests and according to the rooms we will have access to.

For such a reason we have thought that the real "democratic" way not to disappoint any of the possible participants is recurring to a draw.

Each of you will have the chance to "book" for the class you want to take part to from the 28th of February until the 24th of March.

We will not accept any booking or booking request after this date.

To each person who booked for a class a number will be automatically assigned and then communicated by e-mail.

At the end of the bookings, we will cast the participants for the three events recurring to the website RANDOM.ORG which offers a service of randomized numbers draw, a service which is well tested and known for its clearness.

Then we will communicate the numbers of the assigned places and the numbers of people in the waiting lists for each class. If one renounces to the draw, we will contact their followers in the waiting list, of course following the order in which the numbers have been drawn.

It is possible to book the draw of all the three events but, as they will take place all at 15 pm, if you are so lucky to win more than one course, you will have to choose the class you prefer and then leave the other place(s) to the people in the waiting list.

Since we are aware that we will not satisfy all the participation requests of our friends, we are preparing a "B plan" so that you will all be able to take part (even if indirectly) to this wonderful experience even if you have not been rewarded by chance.
