Festa del Ricamo 2009 Our Guests: Cynthia Zittel of *Drawn Thread* Cynthia lives on the wonderful mountains of Colorado in the United States from which, for 20 years she has been inspired for the creation of her beautiful works. Also known for her classes which she organizes in order to realize special projects, she will be in Italy for the first time and... she will be happy to invite you to take part to one of her lessons. *Marie-Thérèse Saint-Aubin* Considered by a lot of people as one of the most original designer of cross-stitch drawings she is above all a real needle artist: her ability to catch the details of the natural things that she loves having around she has given us some true masterpieces to embroider. Do not miss the chance to make you sign one of her marvellous books! Isabelle Mazabraud-Kerlan of *Reflets de Soie* Isabelle loves being surrounded by beautiful things and she has transformed her passion for antiques samplers in her actvity: her revisitings are surely among the most elegant suggestions that we can find in French embroidery world. It will be a nice challange to compare the interpretations by Isabelle with those by Suzanne and Joanne .. Suzanne Bullman and Joanne Stellig of *Historical Sampler* The history and the charm of the antique embroidery art and of the samplers of English origin finds in the creations by Joanne and Suzanne a novelty element which is absolutely unique. Suzanne and Joanne are friends and they have been embroidering together for 20 years and at the end of 2001 they decide to start their activity of creators for cross-stitch and canvas embroidery. The success they obtain is immediate all over the world. Karin Kersten of *Beardie Designs* Karin lives in Holland and she represent for the European embroidery world an inexhaustible resource for the professionals: her passions has permitted even to us from Casa Cenina to learn a lot about his incredible world. Her creations represent at the very best level the Northern Style Carla Cervella and Pina Ceraso of *Cer.Pi.Ca.* Casacenina's friends and clients, Carla and Pina are the only Italian guests of this year. Before the Festa, we will insert their nice and beautiful works in our catalog in the two series "Ricamo le tue idee" and, of course, "Cer.Pi.Ca". Even Diane Williams of *Little House of Needlework* should have been our guest, but she will not be present. Anyway, in order to feel next to us, she has dedicated to us a pattern named Casa Cenina that we are very proud to present and, obviously, you will find it at the Festa. And moreover... a lot of surprises are waiting for all of you who will take part to this special occasion! A unique chance to meet the best loved authors, see their works and, why not... ask for a signature, make some pictures to keep in your album. The event is an exceptional occasion to meet these popular embroidery creators and see really closely their brand new works. As it is now our tradition for the Festa del Ricamo all the designers will give to each visitor a special gift made on pourpose for this special occasion. The event is absolutely free and it will take place in a typical Tuscan villa near Arezzo. We are waiting for you! Where does the Festa del Ricamo take place?
The Festa takes place, as for the past years, in the Relais Santaflora. We will be ther from 9:45 in the morning until 18:00 p.m.
The restaurant of the Relais has prepared a Festa del Ricamo menu if you decide to dine in the place of the Festa.
Is there any transport service from the station of Arezzo?
Yes, this year we will have two little bus which will shuttle from the station to the Relais in the morning and in the afternoon (we will pay attention to guarantee the presence of the buses when the principal trains arrive). It is also possible to arrive to the place of the Festa by taking the train from Arezzo to Capolona. From the station of Capolona there are about 400mt. to arrive at the Relais.
Where can I find a hotel for the night?
Casa Cenina is inside the National Park of the Casentino and there are a lot of accomodations for all the requests. Here below are some links that will help you find the accomodation you prefer:

Can I buy any products?
Of course! This year (as we have learnt from the experience of the past years) we will prepare a lot of stands with a wide selection of products from our catalog.
You can also make a Pick&Pay order (by selecting the option "Subbiano (AR) - Magazzino A") in the page of the chart as Shpping Method. This way, you will find the pack already prepared and you will be able to benefit from all the cuts you have the right of and... you will be sure to find what you ae looking for.
This year all the products on display will have a Festa's price which will make particularly convenient to make your purchases. In order to avoid long queues at the Counter, we have decided not to make on-line orders and each cash will directly give you the receipt.
