When I received them, I thought these needles were gorgeous! I wanted to make a beautiful embroidery kit with the gold scissors and needles, but the gold didn't last even halfway through the project. With the rubbing of the fabric, thread, and fingers, the gold fades, leaving me with ordinary silver needles. What a shame! I was expecting a different quality for the brand. I'm going to try the John James ones.

We regret that you were not satisfied with this DMC product. Thank you for your report, which we will forward to DMC. Unfortunately, gold-plated needles tend to react differently depending on the user's skin: like perfumes, they can react very differently depending on the user, and the coating can last longer or shorter depending on who uses the needle. Of course, this is not an excuse, and, as anticipated, we will report everything to DMC and look forward to their response.
