Shunuri small scissors with gold lacquer art - Red

Small scissors with varnish and gold lacquer - lacquered through tamenuri technique (using a colored undercoat and a transparent top coat) - made by Hasegawa Cutlery in Seki City, Gifu Prefecture, one of Japan's foremost districts for edged tools - and added varnish and gold lacquer that give off a noble luster.
These beautiful scissors are decorated with an all-natural vermillion lacquer that will slowly change color throughout the years, which is a unique quality of natural lacquer. The decorative gold and silver tassel makes these scissors even more gorgeous.
Artisans have individually adjusted the bite of the blades for each pair of scissors, allowing them to cut sharply. As the tips are thin, you can use them easily for delicate and detailed work.
The scissors will be supplied with a small case made from real leather as well.
Each pair of scissors measures 10.5cm long and 5.3cm wide.
