Why and how to register in Casa Cenina
For shopping in our website, you don't need to be registered in it, because it's enough to provide the information needed, when placing your order: i.e. when you have already put what you want to purchase into your shopping cart.
However, creating your personal account speeds up your following orders, for once you have registered your personal info, you won't have to enter it again and again, any time that you're shopping in our website. Registering is free and does not mean you have to purchase anything, while your data will always be protected, as provided for by the privacy regulations in force, explained here. Creating your account gives you a whole lot of benefits: managing your Wishlist; following your orders; managing your personal data; taking part in our Guest Club and, last but not least, collecting the "little bricks" of our loyalty program called "Conta le Case".
To create your account, just click on the Your account key, on the bar right above and then follow the directions provided in this page.
Our product file
Once you have found what you've been looking for, you'll be displayed its "product file".
In this page, you're going to find a lot of useful information.
First of all, the complete title and, just below it, its item number and manufacturer. You'll see, you can click on the manufacturer, to get all the products from this brand displayed immediately.
In the upper part of our product file, you can find he box dedicated to shopping.
It displays the price of the product , the Conta le Case price, the small box where youc an enter the quantity you'd like to purchase and a special key, looking exactly like a paper bag, to press and place this product into your shopping cart.
Just under the item number, you can find its description, usually giving you all the basic information needed, followed by some related products, automatically selected by our system, according to what you have already purchased in the past, or what ideally match the item you're being displayed. Just a little below, you can find the list of the materials needed to complete the product selected (such as, for example, threads, fabric and other special components, like beads, in the instance of cross stitch charts and/or products needing them to be completed).
In the product files of fabrics, you won't find the quantity box, but another little one, where you can enter the size of the fabric cut needed, according to its height.
Should you need cuts different from those mentioned here, just write it in the "Comments" box located at the end of your shopping cart page.
The product file also states immediately if the item is in stock. In fact, the products in stock feature a green Product Available indication. When anything is mentioned in "Limited Quantities", that means it can only be purchased in the amounts in stock, which you can read just beside the "Limited Quantities" indication.
The products that are not immediately in stock, are always displayed with the minimum average time required for them to be in stock again, as well as the chance to enter your email address in the special box provided, so that our system can send you an automatic reminder, as soon as the product is back in stock again.
If you just don't feel like purchasing immediately the item you're looking at, but you just want to remember it for your future shopping, you can put it in your "Wishlist", by simply clicking the Wishlist key. And if you still wnat to think about it a little further, you an also take a look at the opinions posted by other customers, who have already bought and tested this product.
Last but not least, please bear in mind that when you read *** TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE *** it means that, due to circumstances beyond our control, we cannot guarantee either this product to be back in stock, or the time needed to get it back from its supplier and/or manufacturer. This is why you can't put such product into your shopping cart, but in your Wishlist only, together with your email address to be automatically informed, if it comes back in stock.
Looking for something, among the number of products in our web
The items included in our catalog are divided into the categories that you can see in the dropdown menu on the left, just below the picture of our headline. Clicking the word "Catalog", you're being displayed the menu with all the categories, while clicking each of them, you'll be displayed a page with all the subcategories connected to the topic selected, ranging from the list of producers, to the magazines divided into subjects and so on.
In any case, you can look for something in many other ways, so let's see them.
Searching through a Keyword
Our search engine enables you to find all the products in our catalog.
You can search each single page, by simply entering some words (or single words) in the search box, which is constantly displayed right at the center of the line, below our graphic headline.
Once you have entered the word/words and selected the category where you want to search, our system is going to look for all the products containing the word or the words entered in their description, their name, their code, as well as in the name of their manufacturer and/or designer.
Some tips
Search results display all the items containing at least one of the words (or the word) you have entered, but also those that are closer to them. This is why, if your first try gives you too many results, it's better to narrow down your search, using less words or just a some of them.
Searching by Subject
Another easy and fast way to find something, is to use our browsing system, based on subjects. In any webpage, you can always find the link to this one Search by Subject.
Search by ISBN
In the instance of books, you can also find them by simply using the ISBN, which stays for International Standard Book Number and is the identification code of publications worldwide.: just enter it into the search box and... All done!
How to use your Shopping Cart and Wishlist
In all product files, you can always choose whether to place the item directly into your shopping cart, or to put it in your Wishlist.
The Shopping Cart
Whenever you find what you're interested in, you can put it in your shopping cart. In the first page of your shopping cart, you're being displayed all the products in it and you can modify their quantities: when doing so, please always remember to click the "update" button, to save your changes.
In the first webpage of your shopping cart, you can also select the kind of payment and shipment you prefer. Click "Proceed to checkout", to go on.
Now, you've reached the second page of your shopping cart, displaying all your personal information and where you can change your shipping address, if needed. Last but not least, in the box called "Comments. Everything to better serve you", you can write to us anything you may further need. Click "Proceed to checkout" again, to go on.
Now, if you have selected a credit card payment, you'll be asked to enter your credit card info here. We kindly remind you that you're using a totally safe website, so go on with full confidence!
If you have selected a different type of payment, you'll be automatically redirected to the last page of your shopping cart, where you're being displayed a summing up list of all your data and selected items. Then, you'll just have to click "Confirm your order", to finalize it. Just a few minutes later, you're going to receive an email, listing everything.
Now, let's see how useful the Wishlist can be and how it works.
Wishlist
First of all, let us remind you that, to us the Wishlist as a reminder to note anything you migh purchase in the future, you need to have a personal account and be signed in our website: that's the only way to save all the info in your Wishlist (as well as in your Shopping Cart), even though you're closing the webpage or shutting down your computer.
With the dedicated key, you can simply enter the product in your Wishlist, turning it into a sort of "wishing well", where you can always find back the things you like while browsing our website. It's a fundamental tool, not to "loose on the way" that particular chart or thing, it's been "love at first sight" with!
From your wishlist, you can also "reserve" a product that's not immediately in stock. In any case, such reservation is never binding, while just giving you the opportunity of getting an email, to let you know when the product is back in stock: at that moment, if you're interested in it, then you can freely decide whether to order it or not.br>
I've lost my password or I can't remember it! What can I do now?
No problem :) Just click here and enter the email address you've used when creating your account in our website. You'll be automatically emailed a new password, which you can always change later, directly from your Account, when you sign in again. If anything goes wrong, or does not work with this procedure, you can simply email us and we'll be pleased to help you.
Managing my Account
Once you have created your Account and have signed in our website, you can access the webpage of your Account, where you can do many things, such as managing your address book, change your personal info and password, as well as your email address. But you can also keep an eye on your "Conta le Case" discount, cash or send gift vouchers, as well as take part in our Guest Club.
First of all, you can find the link to access your personal webpage in the upper bar, beside the "Home Page" writing. To be sure you have logged in, make sure you can read our Hello, yourname next to "Home Page" (in the upper bar, too). Then, click on Your Account and access your page.
As you can see, this is divided into several sections.
• My Account
Through the links of this section, you can change all your info: from your personal address, to your email; from your password, to your payment details.
• My orders
This is a fundamental section, since this is where you can follow your orders being processed and check your previous ones. By clicking on View the orders I have made, in fact, you'll get a data archive of all the orders placed and this can be useful, for example, to look for things you have already purchased and you can't remember the details of .
The link Shipping helps you tracking the orders being processed or already shipped. Last but not least, the link Digital Download takes you to the webpage where you can download the patterns purchased with the special system called Digital Delivery.
• Conta le Case
This is another crucial box!!! In fact, that's where you can find the exact count of your "little bricks" and the discount level - 4%, 7% or 10% - you have reached so far, as well as the "expiry date", which you have to purchase something by, not to miss the discount reached and the count of our "Conta le Case Top" program.
• Gift Voucher
This is where you can purchase a gift voucher, send it to anyone you want, or cash one you have received. When you receive such a gift voucher, we kindly remind you that in the email informing you about it, you can find all the information needed to use it, as well as its number: keep it! For this number enables you to make use of your credit, when you decide to do some shopping in Casa Cenina. To use your Gift Voucher, you just have to click the link in the email you have received and you'll be redirected to the related webpage. You'll then be asked to sign in (if you don't have a personal account, yet, you'll be asked to create one), so that your Voucher can be confirmed and used as a credit.
• E-Mail Notifications
This is where you can subscribe or unscribe from our newsletter, as well as display or modify the products, which you've been notified about via email.
• Guest Club
The links in this webpage allows you to manage those of your Guest Club, display the reports and statistics, take a look and modify your personal info, as well as cash the royalties you have accrued so far.
I'd like to ask for a product I can't find, or to receive your catalogs
How can I do that? If you're looking for something you can't find in our online store, just email us, providing all the information you know about this product (name, designer, publisher, an item number, if you have one, pictures and so on): in short, anything that may be useful to us to find it and we'll be pleased to help you finding it and, in case, to enter it in our catalog!
As for the catalogs, you can find all the catalogs of the brands we have in stock, by simply clicking on the "Catalogs" key.
However, please remember that we don't supply traditional paper catalogs, because we update our online store with new products every day, so it would be impossible to keep an updated paper catalog. What's the CVV/CCV2 and why do I have to supply it?
The CVV/CCV2 number is a three- or four-figure code, increasing credit card transaction safety, for it's a code that exclusively the owner of the card can physically have. To find out your CVV/CCV2, there's a support page in the payment section that, when clicked, provides all the information needed to get this code for the credit card used.

Gift Vouchers and Promotions
How to buy Gift Vouchers.
Our Gift Vouchers can be purchased, like any other product in our e-shop, by the dedicated link in your Account webpage. So, to buy them, you have to be registered and logged in and use the following link: Purchase Gift Vouchers provided in your account.
To pay them, you c an simply use any payment method allowed (Credit Card, PayPal, Bank Transfer, etc.). Once you have bought it, the Voucher is automatic added to your personal account and it is displayed in your shopping cart, whenever you shop in our store. You'll be the only one to decide whether to use it for your shopping, or to email it to someone as a present or pleasant surprise.
How to send Gift Vouchers to someone.
To send someone a Gift Voucher as a present, just go to this page "Send a Gift Voucher" within your account.
You can always find this link also when you display your shopping cart, in its lower part, on the right.
When you send a Gift Voucher, please remember to specify:
- the name of the person you're sending it to;
- the email address of the person the Voucher is addressed;
- the amount you'd like to credit on the account of the person receiving the Voucher (you don't have to credit the full amount of your account!)
- a short message that's going to be in the email this person is receiving.
Please, be sure to enter all the information correctly!!
How to credit yourself a Gift Voucher you have received
If you receive a Gift Voucher with an email, you'll find all the information needed for using it in the email itself. The email will also report the number of the Gift Voucher: keep this number, because it will enable you to use the credit avialable, when you decide to shop in Casa Cenina. To use the Gift Voucher, click on the link reported in the email received and you'll be redirected to the related page that you can find within your account, too (you must be logged in), under "Redeem Gift Voucher".
If you don't have your account in Casa Cenina, you'll be asked to create one, so that your Voucher can be confirmed and used as a credit.
Buying Gift Vouchers.
If you have funds in your account, then you can use them to do your shopping in Casa Cenina: you don't need to do anything else! The funds are automatically deducted from the total amount of your order.
If you don't have enough funds to finalize your order, you can pay the remaining part using one of the payment methods allowed for any usual purchase. If your total funds are higher than the total amount of your order, then you can use the difference for any future purchase.
Voucher must be credited in one year, so, if you receive one, remember to credit it in the above-mentioned way within this time!

Gift Vouchers and Promotions.
Using Gift Vouchers doesn't mean you can't use other promotions: Gift Vouchers, in fact, give you the right to access to any other promotion in Casa Cenina.
Please, do not forget that for the promotions connected to the value of the items ordered, of course, the amount accrued with Gift Vouchers is not considered, otherwise, the order values would be used twice. However, the discount part that can be accrued with Gift Voucher is always available and does not affect the total amount of the items accrued using Gift Vouchers.
The difference between Gift Vouchers and Coupons.
Differently from Gift Vouchers, Coupons are codes that must be entered in the box provided in the webpage of the Payment Method, in your Shopping Cart.
Please note: always bear in mind that, to use a coupon, you have to press the "Use Coupon" and not the "Confirm" key!!!
How to place your order
Our website is an online store, so the best - and most correct - way to place your orders is definitely directly through our website, putting the items you like into the shopping cart and finalizing your shopping.
However, you can place order via email, fax or telephone.
For emailed orders, we kindly ask you to specify , besides the list of products you'd like to purchase, your full address, the payment method you want to use and a phone number. When we receive your email, we will immediately enter your order and you will receive a notification email, summing up all the details of your order.
For faxed orders, here's our fax 39-0575-033115. We beg you to clearly report - besides the above-mentioned information - the product codes and the shipping information, in order to avoid any mistake.
Last but not least, you can also use our phone number: 39-0575-421 407.
WARNING: to make it easier entering your faxed orders, as well as those communicated on the phone, we beg you to give our employees the i product codes of the items you want to order. Our product code is a number composed by some figures, located just below the name of the product itself, in the square bracket, following the # sign.

Can I come and shop directly at your headquarters?
We are located in a very large warehouse, where products are stored just like in any industrial warehouse and our employees are all always preparing and shipping your orders. That's why it isn't always easy to welcome you, for your shopping here, even though, by appointment only, we're always willing to do our best to let you come and shop here. In any case, you can always visit us and do your shopping during our special events, such as our Festa del Ricamo or our Saturday at Casa Cenina.
How can I follow the status of my order?
You can easily follow the status of your order, at any time, in the webpage of your Account, in the box called My Orders, but mainly through the emails automatically sent you by our system.
Each time, these emails report the status of your order.
The several States of your order
Waiting: we have received your order
Processing: your order is being filled
Waiting for payment: if you have chosen to pay through PayPal or bank transfer, we're waiting for your payment to be notified (you can also email or fax us your proof of payment)
Waiting for authorization: if you've chosen to pay with your Credit Card, the system could not charge it and, for safety reasons, you must enter your credit card info again, through the links provided
Authorizaiton received: if you've chosen to pay with your Credit Card, the system has received the authorization needed to charge your credit card
Waiting for products: the items you've ordered haven't come back in stock yet and we're still waiting for them to come back, so that we can proceed with shipping
Getting ready: your order is being packed and it's going to be shipped soon
Shipped: your order has been shipped and we have emailed you the code to track your shipment
In delivery: both in the instance of a shipment through the post service and through forwarder, the delivery has been tried, but nobody was home to receive it. The several cases are described in the notification email you receive from us
Delivered: the order has been delivered
Back: the order has been delivered back to us
Cancelled: the order has been deleted
Following the forwarder
You can follow the status of your shipment through the link Shipping and Delivery in the box called "My Orders" in the webpage of your account. The orders shipped (and not delivered yet) are displayed in this page, with the tracking codes to be used in the related box.
How can I change or cancel my order?
To delete or modify an order of yours, just let us know, through email or on the phone (+39-0575-421407) and we'll do as you require.
Can I add some products to my order?
You can add products to your order, until it reaches the "Getting Ready" status.
To add products to your order, you just need to send a new order as usual, through the website, specifying you'd like it to be matched to your other one, in the "Comments" box. When we receive it, we will fix the relevant shipping rates (cancelling them if the have to be cancelled, or modified if they need to) and match the two orders.
Shipment options
What are the shipping methods used?
We use several kinds of shipment, while steadily adapting them, to offer the best service and most reasonable quality/price ratio and times of delivery.
The cheapest and fastest shipping option is certainly the Standard one, which we use a carrier for (for few destinations, we can actually use the so-called J+3 - PaccoCelere3 - of the Italian Post Service, too).
Such service guarantees the parcel to be delivered within1/4 working days (from shipment!).
With the Express service, shipment is guaranteed within 2 days (if the items purchased are all in stock when placing your order) and delivery within 4 days from the order.
How much is shipping?
Shipping rates depend basically on the type of shipment required (Standard, Express or Post Service) and are calculated according to the final destination of the parcel and the total amount of the order.
For extra-European countries, shipping rates also depend on the weight of the items purchased, as well as on their destination. To get further details on shipments and shipping rates, : you can take a look here.
In any case, each time you put something in your shopping cart, after logging in, our system automatically recognizes your address and can immediately quote you your shipping rate, while you're adding product by product in your shopping cart. Such reckoning is made at the cheapest shipping cost possible.
How can I save on shipping rates?
Here at Casa Cenina, every order from 65€ gets a 5.90€ reduction on shipping costs and this means that the standard shipment through carrier is totally free of charge.
Shipping costs are free for orders starting at 65,00 euros except for a few rare exceptions such as particularly voluminous or heavy items; in these cases it is clearly stated.
Please note: If your order includes items that aren't immediately available (as always specified on our site), we will automatically split it in two, as shown in the cart, to immediately ship the available products. All the other items will be moved in a new order, created by our system, that will be shipped as soon as the goods will be back in stock. Shipping fees will be charged on both orders in case neither of the two orders reaches the amount of 65 euros. The customer will anyhow be advised when the non-available products are back in stock; this way he/she'll be able to take advantage of the second shipping to add any other items and benefit shipping discount if the total with the added products reaches a total of 65 euros.
Shipping time
Shipping time depends basically on two elements:
• if the products are in stock when you're placing your order
• the type of shipment selected (Standard, Express or Post Service)
When you require an Express shipment and the items selected are all immediately in stock, we ship right on the same day of the order (provided that it's placed by 7.30 a.m.), if not placed on a public holiday.
Please note: shipping priority is always given to Express shipments. So it may happen that Standard shipments are slightly delayed, mainly in the busiest periods of the year, such as at Christmas time.
Also, we usually ship when all the items ordered are in stock. Should some products take too long to come back in stock, due to circumstances beyond our control, we always take into consideration the possibility of splitting your order into two different orders, shipping all available items immediately and all the other ones as soon as possible. In these instance, the second shipment is fully paid by Casa Cenina, with no additional costs for customers.
Returning or replacing something
Should you find out any mistake of ours when receiving your parcel, you can email us at or call us (+39-0575-421 407), to report the error. We usually replace the wrong product through priority mail (which we totally refund you), or issuing a Voucher, or refunding your Credit card or PayPal account. In any case, we respect your preference.
If the products to be replaced are particularly bulky or heavy, we will always assess with you the most convenient solution.
Right of Withdrawal
If you change your mind but you don't want to give up the items ordered, you have the right to withdraw from the sales agreement, as provided for by the Italian Law Decree n° 206 of 6 September 2005.
Such law gives the right to withdraw from a sales contract to any consumer, i.e. any natural person who, in commercial practices covered by this Title, is acting for purposes which are outside their trade, business, craft or profession.
You can withdraw from the contract within 10 working days of receipt the goods purchased.
Once you have decided to withdraw from the sales contract, you can communicate it to: CasaCenina c/o Cenina S.r.l. Loc. Cenina, 184/B - 52010 Capolona (AR), in accordance with the provisions of the Law Decree 206/05 Articles 64 and following.
In accordance with the provisions of Article 55, chapter 2 of such Law Decree, we remind you that:
Unless otherwise agree by both parties, the right of withdrawal provided for by Articles 64 and following ones shall not apply to:
a) the provision of services if provision thereof has already begun, with the consumer¿s agreement
before the end of the period referred to in Article 64 Paragraph 1; br>
b) he supply of goods or services, the price of which is dependent on financial market rate
fluctuations beyond a professional's control;
c) the supply of goods made to the customer¿s specifications or clearly customised or which, by virtue
of their nature, cannot be returned or are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
d) the supply of audio or video recordings or computer software which have been opened by a
consumer;
e) the supply of newspapers, periodicals and magazines (including books and charts);
f) gaming and lottery services.
We also remind you that, for copyright reasons, we cannot accept returned books and/or publications, such as charts, magazines and similar items.
How can I talk to you?

• We always do our best to keep the products in our catalog in stock.
• Each product file states whether the item is in stock, right when you're being displayed it and, even more, when you place it in your shopping cart. When the item is not in stock, you can always read the average time needed to get it back in stock again.
• All orders are processed within a working day from receipt.
• (Of course, when all the items ordered are immediately in stock).
• When it's not possible to fill your order within a couple of days from its receipt, because some products are not available yet, we always consider to split the order in two.
