Heart in Hand means just that and is the name, that not surprisingly, Cecilia Turner chose for her brand of cross stitch embroidery patterns and kits.
In 1991, Cecilia won a contest in which she was specifically required to design a heart, announced by the well-known magazine "Classic Cross Stitch." It was this unexpected victory that encouraged her to design her own patterns and offer them to the general public.
In 1994, Heart in Hand Needlework debuted at the most important trade show in the U.S., in Nashville, with its style inspired - still today - by the trends that the designer always tries to pick up on in fashion, furniture and home decor, then declining them in seasonal colors, as the seasons, precisely, follow one another. All of this, in a style always aimed at combining the traditional art of cross-stitching with the freshest inspirations and the most innovative ideas.
