It is produced by Lecien, the Rising Sun brand with a textile tradition now almost a hundred years old: it is Cosmo 25 six-ply cotton, perfect for cross stitch and various other embroidery techniques.
Available in a range of 501 colors, in 8-meter skeins, Cosmo mouliné is made exclusively from high-quality, extra-long-fiber cotton and is distinguished by its very bright appearance.
Compared to the mouliné of Europe's most famous brand, it has a silkier touch, making it extremely smooth and, consequently, less prone to tangling. Also, again in comparison with its historic "cousin made in France," its six strands are easier to separate and produce a slightly more consistent embroidery line.
