Mouliné Cosmo: with all the Japanese care.

It is produced by Lecien, the Rising Sun brand with a textile tradition now almost a hundred years old: it is Cosmo 25 six-ply cotton, perfect for cross stitch and various other embroidery techniques.

Available in a range of 501 colors, in 8-meter skeins, Cosmo mouliné is made exclusively from high-quality, extra-long-fiber cotton and is distinguished by its very bright appearance.

Compared to the mouliné of Europe's most famous brand, it has a silkier touch, making it extremely smooth and, consequently, less prone to tangling. Also, again in comparison with its historic "cousin made in France," its six strands are easier to separate and produce a slightly more consistent embroidery line.

All of Cosmo's shades match those of DMC, although some colors are peculiar to each brand. For example, DMC has 13 yellows, while Cosmo has 17; DMC has 12 navy blues, while Cosmo has only 9. So, watch out for conversions and...
