Lizzie*Kate has chosen a quotation from a special, highly special, American woman, who was an important lawyer, writer, teacher and progressive activist, who lived between the 19th and 20th centuries:
Helen Keller.
As usual, this Mystery SAL
will be divided into 3 releases - November, December and January - and, to ensure you a smooth and punctual management of the whole project,
we will accept your reservations exclusively until October 10th and payment in advance.

In detail"Things Unseen" is 165WX205H;
the Mystery also includes 3 lovely Bonus patterns (also divided in 3 parts), to stitch a "
Mystery in the Mystery" how and when you want (154WX34H);
there's also an "Embellishment Packs, containing 2 exclusive buttons from Just Another Button and a bunch of other goodies for this amazing project;
14 Weeks Dye Work skeins are provided in the special Threadpack, that includes a color created and hand-dyed expressly and exclusively for this Mystery SAL!
What’s coming and When• Within mid-November 2014, 1st pattern and 1st part of the Bonus, threadpack with the skeins from Weeks Dye Works and aida or linen fabric cut (if you choose to purchase them). The embellishment packs, too (3 on the whole: 1 for each part of the Mystery), will be included in this first shipment
• Within mid-December 2014, 2nd pattern and 2nd part of the Bonus.
• Within the first half of January 2015, the New Year is starting at best, with the 3rd pattern and the 3rd part of the Bonus.

Deaf and blind since she was little more than a newborn, probably because of an acute meningitis, Helen did not give up the idea of a full and amazingly active life, in many, fundamental, social fields, thanks also to the help of two other, very special women: her mother, who did not surrender to the terrible disability of her little girl and decided to send her to a suitable school, and the teacher who, in that school, taught her everything and led her to become that great figure she was meant to actually become!
Helen Keller’s biography is just like a novel and her quotation selected for this Mystery SAL is timeless, just like all the quotations of the greatest protagonists of human history

Ciao, sono contentissima che ci sia un nuovo Mystery di Lizzie Kate.
Ho una domanda sul costo del materiale:
avete scritto che il Threadpack costa 32.90E ciascuno, quanti ne dobbiamo acquistare per terminare il ricamo?
e anche per l' embellishment-pack 18.92E ciascuno, cioè se li volessimo tutti e 3 (quelli da usare per il mystery sarebbero 18.92E x 3 = 56,76? )

Il "Threadpack" contiene SOLO le 14 matassine di colori Weeks Dye Works tinti a mano per ricamare il Mystery e un Threadpack è sufficiente per fare il ricamo :-) Abbiamo messo la parola "ciascuno", nel caso qualche ricamina volesse acquistarne più di uno, perché ha in mente di eseguire il ricamo anche da regalare a qualche amica, parente, ecc.

probabilmente abbiamo generato qualche equivoco/confusione specificando che i pack contenenti bottoni e charms sono tre (uno per ogni schema) e aggiungendo il termine "ciascuno" quando abbiamo elencato i prezzi. Abbiamo corretto questa seconda parte in quanto per realizzare un sampler completo occorrono:
- i tre schemi
- un taglio di stoffa
- un threadpack
- un (1) embellishment pack (opzionale).
Linda di L*Z ha lasciato libertà nella tipologia e caratteristiche per tutti i componenti in modo che ognuno, sulla base delle proprie esigenze, scorte, gusti può acquistare solo quello che ritiene opportuno (oltre ovviamente ai disegni).

buon giorno ho appena letto questa interessante novità ma avrei bisogno di alcune spiegazioni : potreste spiegarmi che cosa è un SAL ? non vi ho mai partecipato e sarei molto interessata.

Ciao :-) A tutte coloro che, come la nostra amica qui sopra, che hanno il dubbio per i fili - che nel caso di questo Mystery sono raccolti in un comodo pacchetto, detto Threadpack - è giusto dire che non è obbligatorio ricamare il Mystery SAL coi filati tinti a mano contenuti in questo "pack"... Ma è altamente consigliato, per due motivi: primo, i filati tinti a mano hanno un effetto assolutamente diverso dai comuni mouliné e, proprio perché tinti a mano, hanno sfumature che li rendono difficilmente "convertibili/assimilabili" ai fili mouliné tinti con bagno industriale; secondo, uno dei colori del suddetto "Threadpack" è stato creato appositamente per questo progetto, quindi è un colore assolutamente unico. Detto questo, è pur vero che, volendo, si possono trovare le corrispondenze che più ci sembrano adatte e ricamare coi mouliné tradizionali. Un caro saluto.

scusate però nello schema è prevista la conversione in filati DMC? di solito negli altri due mystery c'era.... lo chiedo perché poi come al solito è molto probabile che lo finisco come cuscino che poi laverò...
