Right on the courtyard of the famous Shakespearean balcony in Verona, where the so young Capulet used to appear and meet - even with just a quick glimpse - her beloved, opens up the so-called "
Piccolo Teatro di Giulietta" (Juliet's Little Theater): the lovely venue that Casa Cenina has chosen to let you meet Nora Corbett, just where the protagonist of
our amazing Mystery SAL and event lived!
On Saturday, May 7th 2016, Nora and Casa Cenina will be waiting for you in this magical, timeless atmosphere, to spend some time together - from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. approx. - in the foyer of the "Piccolo Teatro di Giulietta" in Verona.
At the beginning of the Fifties, this foyer was the official seat of the "Teatro Cappello", named so after its entrance, that was exactly in the street in Verona - via Cappello 23 - and passing right through the courtyard of Juliet's House: yes, just that! The worldwide renowned garden where, sheltered between the unmistakable crenellated walls, there's the as renowned balcony of the noble, founrteenth-century mansion that everyone - at least once in his life - has seen somewhere and, maybe, dreamed to visit some day!
The house is still adorned with a symbolic coat of arms: that "hat" ("cappello", in Italian") re-echoing the family name "Capulet" of the immortal, Shakespearean heroin, who's from now on is going to have one more portrait, created by the artistic skill of Nora Corbett and interpreted by the industrious creativity of all your hands, which will stitch it :-)
The access to our event will be free, even though with exclusive priority to our friends and their families.
This is why, we will welcome you to the "Piccolo Teatro di Giulietta" through a reserved entrance, so that you won't have to pass through the courtyard of Juliet's House - which the foyer is anyway directly connected to - being it always quite crowded with tourists and other visitors.
We'll be delighted to have a chat with you live, admire your stitched models, or even just your "work in progress", if you're among those who have chosen to pick up the last part of the pattern during the event and... Nora has already promised, she's going to come with a very well trained hand, to sign your pattern and write a personal inscription for you ;-)
Pictures and selfies will be welcome and you'll enjoy some time in this unique set and with this designer, whose love for Italy equals that of the so many fans of hers and the stitchers who will reach us to meet her!
The never-ending magic of a love story that's still amazing - at exactly 400 years since the death of William Shakespeare, in 1616 - is waiting for you, with Nora Corbett and Casa Cenina, in the place that's its symbol per excellence... And on this story - from Saturday May 7th 2016 in Verona - there'll also be some room for your name!
Save the date and... Look forward to meeting you there :-)
