Sarah Kay's tenderness

Oggi su zaini, quaderni e astucci dei nostri figli impazzano Winx e Gormiti, ma qualche tempo fa erano i dolci disegni di Sarah Kay ad accompagnare le bimbe a scuola.
Sarah is an Australian illustrator who loves drawing pets, boys and girls with patchwork cloths and country landscapes. Graduated in Art and Design in Sidney, Miss Kay has started to draw again in order to entertain her ill daughter. Sarah sent 20 of her drawings to a publisher who transformed them into greeting cards which were instantly sold. The images are now stickers, t-shirts, embroideries etc. True icons for the 70s-80s girls. Notwithstanding her success, Sarah does not like to appear in public showrooms and she has never been interviewed!
