Le Firme del Punto Croce: the new books by Isabelle Vautier and Isabelle Mazabraud

Other than the new book by Nicoletta Farrauto of Niky' s Creations, Flowers, in our stand in Vicenza, Le Firme del Punto Croce directly by the two authors will be presented the new books by Isabelle Vautier and by Isabelle Mazabraud. The two designers, guests of our stand together with Marie Suarez and Annaïck Chauvel will be glad to autograph their books and to present their last publications, of which they will disclose secrets and details.


Just keeping faith to her style, Isabelle Mazabraud has dedicated her last work to the marquoirs, some one-color embroideries and real samplers inspired by antique patterns (which Isabelle owns and will directly show in Vicenza to all the visitors!) and made more modern and finer. Marquoirs d'Angleterre reproduces then the history of this antique style of embroidery which unites together cross-stitch and special stitches like the chain and the star one.


On the other hand, Isabelle Vautier has written with Catherine Anguelu the new Au fil du temps qui passe - Cartonnage et broderie, almost a hundred pages on embroidery and cartonnage, a technique which uses cardboard and fabrics united together. These two mixed arts create new elegant and creative projects: boxes, bags and accessories for you and your friends.
