Here in Italy, we can call them with a number of names, but in the anglo saxon world, they’re mostly called kitchen towels or with the elegant name “tea towel” :-)

And the ones that we have found during our frequent incursions in the Net, always looking for nice and unusual things to offer you, do deserve this elegant name, for they’re so lovely and refined! They’re from the US brand “Girls can tell”, manufactured by a nice couple of artisans in New Jersey, who have been producing and selling their creations for some years now.

But what’s exactly the difference between a kitchen towel and a tea towel? Well, while the first one is usually used exclusively to dry dishes (or our hands in the kitchen), the second one is its evolution, since it’s designed and crafted to use on our tables, too, like a special, little tablecloth, for a coffee, a snack or a quick meal, as well as for a stylish tea time, just like its name suggests. The fabric used for the tea towels from Girls Can Tell, moreover, is lighter and softer than the common cotton used for kitchen towels and printed exclusively in screen printing. a technique guaranteeing lively colors for ever (even after dozens of machine washes) and top-quality, accurate images.
