In December, Vinniey - the founder and designer of Cottage Garden Samplings - has decided to launch a “little extra” to cap off her much-loved “Fabulous House” series. It will be an additional design, with a Tudor-style mansion as the star! More has not been revealed... but Tudor-style mansions are little gems of late medieval architecture, recalling all the charm of English Gothic and that of stately buildings in the many colleges of Oxford and Cambridge, for example, with spectacular arches and windows! In short, there is enough here not to miss this “extra” with stitch count 120x120.

(**) In the kit, the hand-dyed floss “Hickory Sticks” from Classic Colorworks replaces “Garden Gate” from Gentle Art, because the latter is not available from the manufacturer itself at the moment. The two threads are very similar, and Classic Colorworks has been recommended as the best alternative by the designer of the pattern.
