One wool, unlimited inspirations.

This is not DMC's first wool yarn, but it is the first in 100% pure merino wool and organic, dyed exclusively from natural substances made from walnuts, rhubarb, indigo and juniper.

It is called “Eco Vita” and is a wool yarn coming in 16-meter skeins and available in 60 colors, created not only for embroidery - traditional and cross-stitch - but also for creating custom patterns on clothing and accessories for us and our home. A 30°C hand-washable and ultra-soft thread that is environmentally friendly (because no chemicals are used in its production process) and animal friendly.

Eco Vita Merino, in fact, is strictly mulesing free: that is, coming from farms that do not subject sheep to shearing practices that cause them physical suffering, or stress of any kind.
