A new sampler by Antichi Ricami
Back in Casa Cenina's catalog with her brand new creation, here is Maria Concetta Ronchetti of
Antichi Ricami who, with out Festa del Ricamo 2010, has become a very pleasant presence on our website.
Among the most appreciated Italian embroidery creators, Maria Concetta considers the
broderie suisse her main technique: not only double cross-stitch, running stitch and circles on checked fabrics (for further information,
read this post). So, here is the second version of the
Sampler Broderie Suisse, the
Sampler Broderie Suisse II. The checked red fabric is always the protagonist! What differs are the decorative motifs and the frets which adorn the upper part of the embroidery. And the heart is enriched with new motifs and stitches.
This new sampler, presented in exclusive at the Fiera in Vicenza, shows once again how a simple technique can have a wonderful effect. Why don't you directly from this pattern?
