A Kit ... an idea: winners and pictures

“A kit an idea”: ant the winners are...!
Here we are, after four, much than busier days of exhibition, "crackling" as only any working day in an fair can be... But, to tell it with the words of a well-known Italian song, "confused and happy“, for, at this Fall edition of Abilmente, we really got the fireworks! And they were those of the sparkles in the eyes of the two winners of our contest:

Stefania, a young mother from Treviso who - in spite of the thousands things to do she'll certainly have every day, like all modern moms - has found enough time to create a brilliant, revised model of this wonderful Xmas kit thus winning the 500-euro voucher awarded in the "Creativity" section of our event

and

Maria, a shy and unbelieving young lady from the area of Alessandria (but born in Romania!), who, in our country, seems to have found not only her husband, but also another kind of love: that for cross stitch, enabling her to perfectly stitch this little fairy from Mirabilia with a hand beyond compare and a literally breath-taking back

For obvious reasons of discretion (as well as for legal reasons, considering the privacy law in force in Italy), we cannot publish here the surname of our two winners… But our privacy guarantor won't get angry with us, if we simply tell you that they were both moved (almost to tears!) and joyful, each of them in her own way, but sharing two big green eyes, that git even larger with happiness and surprise
And that same happiness, believe us, has been our happiness, too: since in both their glances – that of Stefania, pressed by all her family engagements, but "bursting" with enthusiasm in any case, and that of Maria (who had even thought of a joke at first, when we called her to tell her she was one of the winners) almost fearful, though certainly as big as Stafania's – we saw the reflection, like in a mirror, of you all, who have taken part in our contest with such commitment!

Once again, our most heartfelt congratulations to both winners

But to all of you out there, winners and not (including the only stitching gentleman who participated with much more than a single needlework, Andrea ), who have sent your work – whether big or small, ornate or simple – our most heartfelt THANK YOU for taking part! We know how much passion and commitment you've put in your stitching: all your creations have been a clear evidence of it and not just to us, but - even more important - to the thousands and thousands of visitors of Abilmente, who have admired them all with true surprise and wonder!
Even more, you all out there, please note that - if we had asked just one euro for any time we heard something like "Ohhh my God! How wonderful it's this one!", "How lovely that one over there!", "But that's a masterpiece!" in the last four days - then we'd be very rich, now
And again, hoping this may be of some comfort to all of you who haven't won the 500 euros awarded, the fact that, much more than many times, we were asked if your needlework was for sale!!! Oh yes, you've read right: the people visiting Abilmente simply wanted to buy them!!!
